Submission Guidelines
These guidelines describe how to prepare a submission so our editors can review it quickly and fairly.
What we accept
We consider research papers, analytical blogs, case comments, and structured notes on legal developments, case law, compliance, and regulatory change.
Submissions should be original work that has not been published elsewhere. If a version of the work exists elsewhere, tell us where and in what form.
Format and length
Send your manuscript as an editable document (.doc, .docx, or .odt). Use a readable body font, 1.5 line spacing, and clearly marked headings.
Blogs and case comments generally run 800–2,000 words. Research papers generally run 3,000–8,000 words, including footnotes.
Citations
Use footnotes rather than in-text citations, and keep one citation style consistently throughout the manuscript.
Cite primary sources — statutes, rules, notifications, and judgments — wherever a proposition depends on them.
Author details
Include the author name, a short biographical note, institutional or professional affiliation if any, and a contact email.
For co-authored work, list all authors in the order they should appear and name a corresponding author.
After you submit
Our editorial team reads every submission and responds with a decision or with revision requests. Submission does not guarantee publication.
We may edit accepted work for clarity, structure, accuracy of citation, and house style, and we will share material changes with you before publication.
