AI tools can help with drafting and editing. They do not carry responsibility for what is published — the author does.
Permitted use
You may use AI tools for language editing, summarising your own draft, structuring an outline, or checking readability.
You remain the author of the submission and are answerable for every statement in it.
Disclosure
Tell us, at the time of submission, if AI tools were used for more than routine language editing, and describe briefly how they were used.
AI tools cannot be listed as an author.
Verification of sources
AI tools can produce citations that do not exist or that misstate what a judgment held. Every case, statute, rule, and notification cited must be checked against the primary source before submission.
A submission with unverifiable citations will be returned or declined.
Confidentiality
Do not put client information, privileged material, or unpublished confidential documents into third-party AI tools.
